Okay, so for my first review, I decided I would do a music review (I feel the need to state right now there is probably going to be a lot of these. Because I like music. A lot.). The song I am going to be reviewing today is..... Ungrateful by: Escape the Fate. I will also go over the video, which you can watch here.
So the reason I have decided to review this song (besides it being perfect) was that I recently discovered the meaning behind it. As some people may know, Tyler Clementi was an eighteen year-old boy who committed suicide September 22nd, 2010 after his roommate video-taped him kissing another boy. Escape the Fate (ETF) made a song in which the video portrayed a small boy being bullied, and just before the video ended, they flashed four words across the screen: End The Cycle Now.
ETF made an amazing song about the effects of bullying, not only on the victim, but the bully, and, in a way, the rest of the world. It shows the struggles of going through life as a victim, and it shows that, a lot of the time, the bully has issues that cause them to turn around and hurt the other people around them for (at least, to the victim) no particular reason.
All in all, the song has a great meaning and great lyrics, but it's also an extremely catchy (meaning its been stuck in my head for three days, but at least I like it). I recommend you go listen to it.

A Welcome and an Explanation
Welcome! This is my collection of lost thoughts, forgotten memories, and lonely ideas. It is my collection of anything from book reviews to brownie recipes, from my favourite type of clothes to my favourite word of the day. Feel free to join me in my weird explanations and crazy, long ramblings. Try not to get too confused through my odd stories, and don't puzzle over the reasons for my opinions. Have fun trying to decipher the jumbled-up place that I like to call my mind.
